Copyright, Trademarks and Takedowns

Who owns what on weirmoon.com, third-party trademark notices, open-source and font licences, and how to report infringing material.

Unless a page says otherwise, the original writing, benchmark data and charts, artwork, logos, audio, video, and code on this site are © Weirmoon LLC. All rights reserved. You can link to any page and quote short excerpts with attribution. Please ask before republishing whole articles or reusing artwork — use the contact form.

Where an image, clip, or quotation belongs to someone else, the page credits it next to the item or in the page's credit line. If you spot something that is missing a credit, or that you own and did not authorise, please tell us (see "Reporting infringing material" below).

Weirmoon, the wolf-and-eclipse mark, and Weirmoon: Valley of Spirits are names and marks of Weirmoon LLC. Please do not use them in a way that suggests endorsement of, or affiliation with, another product or business. The press kit sets out what coverage may and may not do.

Reporting infringing material

Weirmoon does not host public user-submitted content, so this should rarely come up. If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, please send a notice through the contact form with the subject "Copyright notice", including:

  1. your name and a way to reach you;
  2. a description of the work you say has been infringed;
  3. the exact address (URL) of the material on this site;
  4. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  5. a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner of the right, or authorised to act for the owner; and
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

We review notices promptly and will remove or disable access to material that appears to infringe. If we remove something in response to a notice, we may pass the notice on to the person who provided the material and tell them how to respond. Repeat infringers will have their accounts closed. Knowingly making a false claim can carry legal consequences.
